Mr. Yuval Ivankovski - Founder

Yuval's Grandfather, Boris Ivankovski, was a high profile Engineer who headed a construction company that employed hundreds of thousands of employees. As a well respected Manager, he was granted his life by the Russians, becoming one of the few lucky Jews who were saved from the Nazis by the Soviet regime and smuggled to Siberia during World War 2. Yuval was born in Siberia 30 years later – Sept 1970.

Yuval's father, Michael Ivankovski, was a well known Engineer. In the late 70's he had started writing anti-Soviet articles, which resulted in a KGB ultimatum: "Leave the country in 14 days or join the other objectors of the Soviet regime in the KGB politic jails."

In 1979 Yuval's family fled to Israel leaving everything behind. His father started designing and managing projects of various sizes for the Israeli Army, designing High-Power lines for the Electric Company and more.

In 1985 Yuval and 15 more students were chosen out of thousands of high school students to study in the prestigious Electronics department. He had completed with an average that allowed him automatic acceptance for the prestigious Electronic Engineering department in the Ben-Gurion University.

Between 1988 and 1992 Yuval completed his Bachelor's degree in Engineering. During that time he was supporting himself, working as a Salesman for the largest Cable TV Company, and was elected the "Salesman of the Month" several times during that time.

In 1992 Yuval was accepted to the prestigious Intelligence Officer's course in the Israeli Defense Force and completed it in 1993 with the rank of Lieutenant.

Between 1993 and 1996 Yuval engaged in various missions which unfortunately cannot be depicted here. The only thing that can be revealed is that these missions were of the most demanding nature regarding Engineering and Management skills. Quite a few were done under life-threatening circumstances.

In 1996 Yuval was promoted to Captain and approved by his commanding officers to continue study toward his Master's Degree at Tel Aviv University. By this time Yuval had understood that he was continually demanded for 2 major skills: one is an Engineering skill, the other – Management. He enrolled on the prestigious Engineering-Management program at Tel-Aviv University while still performing various Engineering and Commanding missions in the Israeli Army.

In 1998 Yuval completed his Master's Degree with a GPA of 90.2 (equal to 3.61 in US). His Master Thesis included a key discovery of a technique that can be used in Fiber-Optic communications for long-rage, high speed communication, and is published in the prestigious Optical Society of America (OSA) Journal.

On completing his Masters Degree and a major 3-year Research and Development project in the Israeli Defense Force, Yuval started a civilian career.

In 1999, having acquired an invaluable experience and education in Research, Engineering and Combat Management, Sales and Military Command, Yuval founded the company which would be known a few years later as "Business Diagnosis Institute".
